The technology of LEDs evolves super-fast. EREA keeps a close track of these developments. Some years ago, all white LEDs had a blue shine. Today all LED manufacturers offer LEDs with different shades of white. The shades of white are expressed in Kelvin. While heating the iron bar, the bar becomes different colours. The temperature of the iron bars gives his name to the colour of white. While in the meantime warm white (2800K) as well as cold white (6500K) are usual tints in LEDs, EREA offers both colours standard. This means that all LED modules of our catalogue are also available in "warm" white without additional costs. The only difference is that they are not in stock. Attention: the variations in tints of "warm" white are for human beings much more visible as the one of "cold" white. Despite EREA buys LEDs with the smallest possible binning, noticeable differences are possible between the lots of warm white LEDs. A reorder of warm white LEDs can give a little different tint of white. |
